There are no late registrations, so you must register between Nov. 5th and Nov. 8th! Once you register, you can come play your credits at any time during the two-day event. The winners will be determined by who has the most chips when the final tournament seconds tick off the clock.
In a tournament format like this, a couple of popular strategies are seen. Some players play very conservatively, and just sit on their chips or make small bets, hoping to ease into the money and make a couple of bucks. Other players will bet big in hopes of establishing themselves high up on the leaderboard. They check back often enough to know if they need to start betting again, or if they can simply sit tight to maintain their lead.
I prefer the second of these two strategies. As opposed to making a couple of dollars, I would prefer to bet big and see where it takes me. Worst case, I bust out of the freeroll, and can find another one to join.
