World Cup $200 Giveaway

Are you following the World Cup 2026? The USA is doing really well, which is exciting to see. They are still not a favorite to win it all, but it is nice to see them doing well so far, winning 1st in their Group. Do you think you can pick the winner? I’m giving away $200 cash if you would like to try! Here’s how it works:

Pick A Winner

1. Do your research and decide on one of these choices:
– France
– Spain
– England
– Argentina
– Anyone Else

2. Post a comment below and let me know which choice you want to go with, as well as any other nuggets or thoughts on World Cup 2026.

3. I will enter you onto my Google Spreadsheet here:
World Cup 2026 – $200 Giveaway Spreadsheet

Winners and Payouts

If you pick correctly, you will win a share of the $200, split evenly among everyone who picked that “pool”. So, let’s say you and 3 other people pick France, and France wins it all. You each get $50 bucks. ($200 prize divided by 4 winners). Make sense?

Our community isn’t huge, so I don’t expect a large amount of people to enter. You stand to win a decent amount of cash here.

You can make or change your choice between now and July 4th!

Why is July 4th Important?

Well, besides being my country’s birthdate, that is the official start of the Round of 16. Most folks expect those top 4 teams to all be in it, and of course you can go with Anyone Else, and it doesn’t matter who wins, as long as it is NOT one of those top 4.

Good luck to you, and good luck to the good ol’ USA!

    I am selecting France.

  2. I think Spain will win it all, but would rather see US win.

  3. Leslie Bowman says

I would love to say the USA but I think I will go with Argentina they have Messi and are doing well. But you sure have to be proud of the United States for playing as well as they are and just like myself, I’m sure a lot of others are jumping on the soccer bandwagon because of all of these games for the cup. Thank you so much Keith for having a wonderful sight and keeping it running so well all these years. Happy 4th of July

    • Thanks Leslie! I have you down for Argentina. Thank you for the kind words. Time sure does fly! Started my online poker journey in 2003 and here we are 23 years later, still connected to the industry. :) Happy 4th!

  4. Francis Theriault says

    Argentina

    • Hey Francis! I have you in the Argentina pool. Messi is looking great. Definitely not showing his age, lol. Amazing how well that guy plays.

  5. I’m going to have to go with USA
You guys are co hosting it this year and I like the looks of your team so far.

    • Thanks for the input Shawn! I put you in the “anyone else” pool. Not a lot of folks giving the USA much of a shot, even though they have been quite dominant vs the other Group D teams. Either the USA is better than people thought, or the other Group D teams are a lot weaker than everyone thought…

  6. Thanks for the contest!!

  7. I’ll take Argentina but I’ve watched very little and know nada, miss real football

  8. FunSeeker says

Good day everyone! Many thanks for yet another fun giveaway! My pick is Spain! GL to all!
I am new to world cup but am enjoying it so far.

    • Good luck FunSeeker! Spain is the overall favorite, so a good choice for sure. I started enjoying soccer when my oldest was ~7 years old and started playing youth leagues. Most people I know say it’s like watching grass grow or paint dry, but I enjoy watching the whole field and seeing as things develop. Patience, patience, patience, and then lightning strike as someone scores…

    Argentina

  10. Shanna Skinner says

if Argentina is full I will select France

    • Hey Shanna! Argentina has 3, so I put you under France. Just let me know if you want to change it between now and July 4th. Good luck!

  11. neilhibird says

    Longshot Morocco
It would be a surprise but a wildcard pick.

    • Absolutely a longshot there. I put you under “anyone else”, so if Morocco wins, or anyone besides France, Spain, England or Argentina, you will get a cut of that $200. Good luck!

  12. France

  13. Hey Keith, gotta go with the betting odds and go with Spain. Thanks!

  14. Samir Kumar Singh says

    Argentina.

  15. Interestingly enough, absolutely nobody picked England. If they end up winning, I’ll just do a drawing for you guys. We will cross that bridge when we get to it. England has a good team. Jude Bellingham, Harry Kane, etc. Some really solid talent for sure. Good luck everyone!
